Tramontana Engineering was contacted by RTA Offshore with the request to provide a quick turnaround analysis regarding a pipe lifting operation for one of the major Offshore Contractors.
Tramontana Engineering used OrcaFlex in order to provide a lifting assessment of an offshore pipeline wet stored on the seabed. Since this was a fast track request Tramontana Engineering provided ad-hoc engineering support. This resulted in a full report including basis of design and analysis results in 3 hours. This enabled RTA Offshore to use the outcome and provide it into the dedicated procedure within a day, avoiding delays in the project.
